Log Cabin On The Rocks is a secluded log cabin retreat built over a dome rock house with an amazing overlook to view the scenic rock and water features on over 40 acres. Take the stairs down from the wrap around porch to the overlook to see a breathtaking natural scene then take just a few more stairs down to the dome rock house to the left or a small trail to the right to discover more natural treasures on the property. There is also a fabulous trail behind the owners’ cabin that leads to a creek, huge rock features, and a much larger dome rock house with a seasonal waterfall. You can find us on Airbnb.
Log Cabin On The Rocks sleeps 8 with two king sized beds and two queen sized beds. We also have a sleeper sofa in the sitting area for an extra two guests. The first king sized bed is in the master suite which features gorgeous natural views of the wooded landscape, a gas fireplace, a 50 inch cable/internet TV, a bar, and a quaint private bathroom with a jetted tub. The master suite is perfect for a romantic getaway. The second king sized bed is in the second bedroom which has internet TV, is directly across from the second bathroom, and just steps from the stairs to the overlook. Both queen sized beds are in the loft which has internet TV.
Log Cabin On The Rocks has a full kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. A Keurig is provided for our coffee-loving guests along with creamer, Splenda, sugar, and an assortment of K cups. The dining room has table seating for four along with seating for three at the bar table. There is also a gas grill on the wrap around porch with a patio table and chairs nearby.
Breathtaking views of wooded landscape, a seasonal creek, dome rock houses, and other rock features surround the cabin. Exploring the property beyond the cabin reveals trails, more rock features, cliffs, small seasonal creeks, and Mandy Branch Creek. Big South Fork Recreation Area is a national park that is a very short drive from the property with John Smith trailhead just a walk from our property.
